Pratt and Whitney F100 Jet Fighter Engine Lesson Forgotten by Obama Administration Politics

The Obama Administration has been playing politics with our military budget. This is so very alarming because the Federal Government's number one job is to protect our people. Under Obama it is not likely they'll be able to perform this duty and responsibility to the American People. The Obama Administration instead has offered up a myriad of social programs and political pay-backs for his rise to power under the auspices of stimulus to the tune of several Trillion Dollars.

This multi-trillion dollar spend thrift could indeed prove to be the worst thing that has ever happened to America. Future inflation and debt could eventually lead to the breakup, collapse or financial implosion of the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind. With these horrible expenditures for non-essential items, we are stringing our military out to dry. In fact, the pre-Senatorial Obama in a very popular online video interview basically indicted he wanted to "gut the US Military" and apparently, by his actions, his deep belief in this matter has not changed.

After spending 3.5 Trillion Dollars in the first 100-days of his presidency, President Obama has offered up a meager 17 Billion Dollars in budget cuts. One of which is killing an alternative jet engine project for the JSF VTOL version aircraft. His administration says it is not needed. Baloney! In fact, surely his military budget advisors remember the fatally flawed Pratt and Whitney F100 engine that had so many problems that destroyed and killed so many F-16 pilots? What if there were a repeat scenario and we thus, did not have stealth technology in a regional war?

This would leave us vulnerable, our allies that bought them, and our own fighters grounded, it would mean all the money invested in these aircraft would be for not. Secondly, the sixth generation fighters are just around the corner and several of our black project "OMG" or Oh My God "X-planes" like the OMG X-66 or the OMG X68 stealth UAV might need whatever is learned from these alternative jet engine projects. How can we trust a President that will sacrifice our military defense strength, as a political tool to promote his spend thrift ways? I dare say any President that would do that is "Unfit to Lead" this great nation. Think on that.
